Arabian Horse Club News and
Open Show Results
On September 23,
2007 we held our open horse show at the
Fancher
Davidge
Park in
Middletown
NY. Officiating were Kathleen
Croak as our Judge, and Jim DiMetro as our Ring Master. Kathleen did a marvelous
job, helping the kids, and in general making the day go
smoothly.
This
facility is an extremely hospitable setting for a horse show. The grand old shade trees
framed a beautiful lake with enormous aerator fountains beckoning
the water fowl. The large covered pavilions were wonderful to
socialize in while watching the show and enjoying a bite to
eat. Two large rings;
the main ring has a
great footing being all sand and the practice ring totally under the
shade of the trees is mostly grass

PAHC welcomes Suzanne Bergstein of New Paltz, NY as a new
member, she did a great job showing her Simeon Royal Star gelding at
our Open Show. We look forward to seeing more of her.
Hank and Marguerite Illing of Twin Brook Farm announce the
sale of their black filly, Bahiyah Fahim, born in August to Louis
and Bohdanna Feliciano of
Wawarsing,
NY, .. She is a Straight
Egyptian, sired by Moniet El Zarife out of their Al Hamis daughter
Bint Nasama. After a
semi retirement from the horse industry, Bahiyah will get the
Feliciano’s back enjoying the show ring where they previously did so
well for many years

2007 Annual
HiPoint Awards Dinner
At Kings Catering
in Livingston Manor was
well attended by our members
and their spouses and or/relatives and friends.
As
usual the food was outstanding , the holiday decorations added
to the atmosphere, and everyone had an enjoyable
time.
Although the HiPoint awards was not the "HiPoint" of the
evening due to lack of entries, hopefully 2008 will bring out
more members to enter
in
this program.
Looking ahead to 2008 we have a very ambitious year planned.
We would appreciate anyone that has thoughts on the Dressage
Series and our Arabian Community Show
while they are in their planning stages to share them with
us...
